Current Nano Fission Skimmer

does anybody have any expierence with using this in the 24g aquapod. I just ordered mine and im trying to decide where its going to sit and if it will fit into the filter in the back of the tank?

Just wondering if it has worked for anybody yet

You might want to research this skimmer and maybe cancel your order. There have been a lot of negative posts about them and Premium Aquatics is trying to dump their stock of them.

If you are hoping for the collection of skimate, it is not comparatively effective; regardless of placement.

If you are hoping for aeration, it seems to do the job fairly well. I have a few on some small tanks for this purpose.

yea it was primarialy for aeration since im going to keep my fish count to a minimum. I purchaced this before reading any bad feedback on here but it was cheap enough. I still might return it and use the $25 to get a coral or something. I just dont know if the AP has enough aeration with how the filtration is configured

You'll likely be happier spending the $25 on a better skimmer that does both

I use mine in barebottom tanks that get cleaned frequently, hence they are handy and loose bubbles in the tank are a none issue

i dont know how i would use a skimmer with the 24g Aqua Pod with the pc's in it
