Current USA Outer Orbit

I just noticed toady that the Outer Orbit fixture I purchsed in June or July is only firing up one side of each PC actinic bulb. Should I contact Current USA regarding this? If so, do you have that information?

I think the outer orbits come with 50/50 bulbs on them. So one side will burn a little lighter than the other making it look like if one side is off.

Hi,

Current USA uses a "dual actinic" for the blue bulbs in their pictures. This consists of one tube being a 460nm blue (the brighter one you are seeing), and a 420nm blue which almost appears purple and very dime. The bulb is actually coming on, just to the naked eye the 460nm washes out the coloration of the 420nm when we look at it.

Great, thanks for the information. I actually took the whole thing apart and check the voltage. The ballasts are still good so I guess I just never noticed the buls being so much more dim before.
