Getting ready to order the PowerBrite LED's. Have a 84" long tank. Thought about two white and two blue. Would that look good? Also can they lay on top of the acrylic to shine in or do the need to be in an angle to hit the water to work properly? Thanks.

IMO- Buy them ALL in the blue 460nm actinics... the white ones and 50/50s suck, trust me!

BTW... the farther away from the surface of water they are, the more shimmer you'll get.

Thanks for your response! I think, I am going with two blue for right now to see how it looks. Don't know, if I can get a shimmer effect, because the acrylic is so thick and they would have to lay right on top of it.
