custom 225 build!

Hello fellow reefers this week I will be starting my custom acrylic 225!!! I will be picking up the tank from Anthony with nano sea creations. The tank is 72x30x24 with a single center overflow two drains and two returns.

Major equipment:
1- 75 gallon three stage sump
1- Quiet one 4000 return pump
1- skimz monster 201 E-Series
2- skimz monster E-series 150 reactors
2- Tunze Turbelle Stream 6105
3- Apollo reef LED solarblast UV 5000

This tank will be all tonga branch and dominantly sps similar to Mdefo25"s beautiful 180! My live stock list will be coming soon!

Do you think that Skimmer will be enough for 225 gallons. I know they rate it for 214 - 533 gallons, but it only uses 960 litres per hour of air and doesn't have the biggest body for lots of water contact.

That's a good point but I'm thinking ill be okay, I don't plan on having a tun of fish and I run a pretty low flow through my systems to let the fuge and Skimmer extract as much as possible before going back into the tank. Your thoughts are welcome so let me know what you think.

Got the first skimz monster 150 reactor and it is huge! I think I'm gonna use this one for carbon and get the skimz 100 for gfo.

The stand looks good and sturdy. Are you going to finish it with anything or keep it raw wood?

Thanks! If there's ever a nuclear war this stand will be the only thing left standing. I will finish it with something just not sure with what.

Very nice tank. I was going to get a tank that size from him, but I don't have $1850. I got a 180g all glass instead.

RO/DI had been running for 10 hours and have about 2 inches of water in it so long way to go.
