Custom glass or acrylic containers?

Looking to add a refugium. Don't have much space to work with and it needs to fit in to the existing set up so I need a custom box.

Any recommendations?

Buy the acrylic in 1/4 inch from homedepot, buy weld-on 4 from amazon, use a table saw with an 80 tooth blade,,,,make your own. Its easy...Made my entire sump with an auto top off compartment. Not sure how close you are to Churchville but you could stop over and I'll make it,,,,just need weld-on #4 for see through adhesion. I have weld-on 16 left,,,which works just fine but is used more for a filler adhesive than just for adhesive...Its good for leaks when your done with your project. Using weld-on 16 makes the seams more noticeable.

I was afraid that would be one of the responses lol.

I trust my craftsmanship to many degrees, but not to the point of having it house 6-7 gallons of water in my living room lol. I appreciate the offer but you are pretty far from me to make it my first option, your generosity not withstanding.

Mine houses roughly 10-15 gallons plus 5 in the ato,,,,if it blows apart it will cost me close to 1k to replace the floor I put in 8 years ago in the living room,,,,,,,,,,,weld-on holds,,,,no worries. Just make clean straight cuts and use fast clamps to hold seams together for a couple of mins. If you have leaks when your done before putting project to use,,,easily fix the leaks with weld-on 16...

Ive done this a couple of times and each time Ive done it I worry I'm gonna do something wrong,,,,,,never had a problem though. 10 years ago when I built a sump I even routed the edges,,,it looked like it was factory made

check out the aquamaxx rimless tanks at marine depot. they have a bunch of different sizes that are all completely different from standard tank sizes, so if a standard tank won't work for you one of those might.
