Custom Glass Sump: Where to buy?

I'd like to get a custom glass sump made local/regional.

First, not a GC product. Second, since some of the Ocea supply "options" are no longer available, and the fact that this company is under new ownership, product quality is uncertain at the moment, but I'm open to them.

Second, has to be under $200 (33x18x16 approx. with at least 4 baffles).

Suggestions?

If not GC or OCea, then your probably going to need to diy it. There are many here who have made sumps.

I agree with Andy. WHy not use GC? I had them build one for me and it was bulletproof. that said, your best bet is to DIY it.

Also why does it have to be glass?

It doesn't have to be glass I guess, figured that would be the least expensive route. I have a semi-custom acrylic now, which I got for around $200 including shipping... It is just crampacked, and makes maintenance a real pain, if I can max out the stand space, it will be OK for my large skimmer. I guess I could get a smaller skimmer...Nah!!...

Just make your own, They are very easy. Melev has a site with many different designs and mixer911 has just gone with a baffleless sump. You may ask him the pro's and con's of that design?

yea making them are easy...wish i went that way when i first started my tank a year ago and spent 80 bucks on a dang HOB filter

well if ya know someone to cut ya the glass i have tons of glass laying around my shop that i'd let go cheap or trade it out
