What an awesome tank! How do you like the Vertex skimmers? I looked into them when they first came out for a tank that I eventually took down, but may be setting up very soon.

I have no complaints with them, but to be fair I've never compared them to anything else.

finishd off hanging my lights from the cieling vs resting on the tank, the canopy and most of the stand work. Just paint work left now.

Awesome build! Are you planning on adding doors at the end of the canopy? I have a 300 DD. I have doors similar to your's in the front or I can flip up the front of the canopy. I don't have any doors on the sides are regret it! It's a bear getting to the back of the tank sometimes.

The back of the tank opens up into my "fish room" I can pretty much reach everywhere needed between the front and back access. I do however need a taller ladder because I'm about 6' shy of being able to touch the bottom of the tank.

What kind of tang is that on page 2 of the thread just above the big tang pic? That is a beautiful fish and your tank is what most of us strive for! Also what are the return pumps you are using?
