cyano AKA Red Slime

Started seeing this a couple weeks ago. Increased the number of snails, bought some blue leg hermits, cut back on light, reduced feedings, water changes etc. I could siphon it off and the next day it was back. Decided to try the UltraLife red slime remover.
Turns the tank yellow... Adjusted the skimmer way down, put 2 air stones in the tank (Per their instructions).
Added the stuff last night, around 5 pm.
this morning, water is clear, and large patches have completely disappeared!
there are a few small spots, but I siphoned those off. stirred up the sand in the few places it was on the bed.
Corals never even flinched, slimed or closed. Fish are seemingly unaffected as well.
Tomorrow evening (48 hours later) I am going to do a second dose as they recommend, then next weekend, do a major water change.
Looks like this stuff works like it should!

Just make sure you do a major water change. I forgot once and it jacked my tank up. I used chemi-clean. Had great results as well. I havn't had a slight case in over a year now. I believe it's because I'm paying more attention to my skimmer.

Skim, skim, skim, and water change. You may notice depressed biological filtration: do not challenge that tank with bioload---let it build back capacity gradually. You may notice loss of pods, etc. It cost me 300.00 worth of pods feeding my mandarin after using it.
