cyano gold hammer

I was battleing ssome cyano issues and today I noticed my gold hammer was not open from a small part so I took a look at it and seems that cyano was on the back of it and touching that part and now is missing some tissue ther, so I waved it to try and remove the cyano. my biggest concern is will it recover or will it star to die off? ive had wall hammer that had some bad tissue and did not make it
