cyano in the refuge

i quit dosing vinegar and got the fish out of the tank

and replaced algae scrubber with chaeto algae

my coraline is starting to grow well after i did that and used 250 wat mh instead of 150 watt

no my sump is full of cyano

i am using 85 watt *2 bulbs for refuge compact flourcent

what should i do

Better in the fuge than in the DT

I'd probably just spend a minute or so every couple of days getting out the bulk of the cyanobacteria. It might subside on its own. If not, you could consider adding a GFO reactor.

can it make my chaeto algae sick

Sometimes, it'll cover Chaetomorpha or outcompete it.
