Cycle day 2. Already spotting hitchhikers

So I believe I have an asterina starfish on the glass. How do I remove this little guy?



Also, second hitchhiker spotted I belive is a brittle star. Good to go right? You can see him on the sand bed?



Let me know if I'm wrong about the ID of these vagabonds.

I believe both are fine as long as the number of asternia star fish doesn't go through the roof.

The brittle stars in my tank live 99% of their life in a hole in the rock with a few arms waving around.

Yep.. Your ID is correct..
No need to bother with either IMO..
They are fine.. just leave them..
There is supposedly 1 type of asterina that "can" cause problems.. But IMO.. they are just another beneficial creature.. If you notice problems (eating coral) then you can simply remove it.. with your hands or whatever..

I've had thousands of them in many tanks for years and never had a single problem..
