Is there a difference between the frozen and the freeze dried? No one carries it locally so I'd have to order it.

Yes, I am really disappointed in it. I bought some freeze dried and have only used it a few times. Even trying to vigorously blend it there is still a substantial amount that won't mix in. Maybe the flake is better, but I still prefer the frozen.

Frozen for me, my anthias love it. Too much hassle with the freeze dried.

I bought the flakes type. The texture of it is velvety, very soft. But the wrasse and the clowns love it. It float on top,I don't know if it would sink, they always have it ate up in a very short time.

have you tried soaking it in water first then adding to tank? I usually do this when I use flake food

i buy local, tried soaking it for some time but it will still float.. mix then soak..still floats

a pinch of freeze dried sqeezed tightly at the top of a vortech and you get no floaters.

The flakes, some of those always find their way to the top.

I get the frozen in Rods and Roggers so I don't get it specifically in frozen.
