Where in the heck are people getting this from?

I've never seen it up in Broward.

I'm heading down to the Gables later on today so which LFS's carry it down South?

I've been meaning to get some for a while too but never remember to look for it when I'm at the store.
There's no place in north broward???
That seems odd.

store im at is only able to get the LARGE packs of it ( over a pound i think)

barrier is the only place i know of that carreis the small sticks of it

Chris - I might be interested. I'll split it with someone. Can you find out how many bars the large one equals?

And price

Yes - it is/was the bars I am/was looking for

If your looking for the can, I know beverly's has some... I could of sworn I saw some at CRF too last time I was there... I am going to try and make it over there today or tomorrow, I will let you know if I see any.

The stores by me all carry it - frozen in small bars and freeze dried in a can. I'd be willing to purchase some if you all pre-pay for it on Saturday morning, keep it in dry ice and take it to the swap. Let me know who wants what. I'll find out exact prices and post here in a little bit.

By the way, EVERYTHING in the tank eats this stuff and LOVES it!

CRF almost always has the bars in the freezer. I go thru like a bar a month and i always get it there.

I've seen the dried cyclopeeze at a few stores but i never liked it as much as the frozen. The dried is too buoyant and immediately floats to the surface when i try to spot feed it to corals. No matter how long i soak it, it always floats still:confused:

Who can look at a bar now?

Are those bars 2 oz frozen bars?
I heard they are around $20

IF this is so then I have a MUCH better route to go to get some.

I'm pretty sure CRF only charges like $10-12 for the frozen bar.

lets hear it. whts the other route..
Im interested in a large amount. let us know

OK - definately a much better deal.

These aren't the exact numbers but close enough

Dr Foster's and Smith:

You get the Large 750 gram pack
It will cost like $72 delivered

The large pack is equal to about 10.6 bars so just by looking at that you can say it's about $7 per bar.

AND if you get 6 of the large guys from Dr F&S the price drops a few more bucks.

Heck - I would split 1 large pack with one other person alone and get like 5 bars for $36.

We need to do a GROUP BUY TOMORROW.

It would arrive on Fri - be put on Dry Ice and brought to the Frag Swap on Sat.

Ta-Da ........................

Chuck great idea but how would you ensure equal portions? I'd be in for sharing a large pack since I can't get those around here.

Obviously it would be best if each person would go for one large one by themselves.

Taking half a large one wouldn't be too difficult but it means that the packs get opened. I have a pretty good eye. I could cut them in half and then seal-a-meal them back shut again.

Actually - I wouldn't even have to seal-a-meal them back shut.
What's the point?

If I were to do that and hand them out and you take it home, what's the first thing you are going to do? Open it.

Personally, I will take my own and split it into 6 smaller portions and then seal them and use one portion at a time. I think for me to do everyone's like that would be way too time consuming.
