Cycloseries (short tenticle plate coral)

I'm considering putting one of them in my 18g nano. I have a 150w MH and great water chemistry. I've been told that to do well they need room on to move around on the sandbed. I don't have a large area so it would have very little room to move. Anyone have experience with these or have an opinion? Thanks

Mine doesn't move. It is happily extended and eats like a pig. They can get large, but grow at coral rates.

I have one in my 12Dx w/ 48 wts of PC's and it has'nt moved or lost any color. I have had it in there about 8 months or so. Make sure to feed it a couple times a week.;)

Wow, why are it's tentacles so inflated? Not enough light?

Because of frequent feedings.

They get very greedy. We call ours "Audrey," after the plant in "Little Shop of Horrors."
