Daisy chaining reactors

In an effort to keep my cost down, since the local utility company sent me a Christmas card and a "big atta boy", I am thinking about daisying my two phosban reactors. The out from one will to the intake of another.

My other choice is to get a larger powerhead, a T, and a pair of valves to regulate the two.

I am running phosban in one reactor and will be running either carbon, chemi-pure, or bio-chemzorb in the other one.

Has any one tried daisy chaining the reactors or would the larger pump option be my best choice?

I run my phosban (running carbon only right now) into my UV..... all on the same Maxijet 400

My brother used to run a MJ 1200 into two reactor using a Tee

I've heard people post on here about putting a t off one powerhead to go to both reactors (I think that the person was trying to use a MJ 600). I think that the TLF reactors already have a valve inline to regulate the flow so this should work in theory. I'll be tagging along because I have been thinking of doing the same thing to conserve space in my way-too-packed sump.

Why not gravity feed it from your overflow? Plenty of people feed their skimmer that way, it should work for reactors as well. Anyone see any drawbacks to this?

I don't want to gravity feed all of the crap that comes down the drain tube. Most of what goes through my reactor is after it has passed the pre-filter and filter material. I also don't want a ton of pods living in my reactors . Yes, this has happened before.

I chain mine, denitrate first then phospan.

I daisy chain mine and I use a Maxi jet 1200. This works great. No real reason to use two power heads.
