Damaged frogspawn

I ordered two heads of frogspawn last week. Sadly some of the polyps on one of the heads was damaged in the delivery. Should I just leave it alone and let it heal itself? Any other advice?

The head may desert the skeleton. Should this happen, collect the head in a shallow glass dish, give it protection from current, and a good (420) calcium level, and it can regrow skeleton IF the head is intact. The skeleton will not grow a new head, however.

I agree, watch for BJD but I'd give it some tiny bits of shrimp/mysisa couple times a week until you see some improvement

Looks like it already has a start of brown jelly, I would do a lugols dip and increase the flow on the colony just a tad till it heals.

Place it in a low flow and indirect light area in the tank if possible. These are very hardy corals and recovering well from injuries without doing anything. However, like many have stated, watch out for brown jelly disease.
