Damaged Zoa question.

I have frag I found upside down. I'm not sure how long but I was out of town for 4 days.
It was a frag with one healthy poly and two babys that have not quite emerged.
The main polyp after one day is still not out but I think maybe I saw a couple of pieces of the skirt sticking out.
Question is does the main polyp have to be out for the babies to emerge?
If you had something similar happen/comment please share.

Yeah, It didn't make it. I got another. It was an expensive mistake. My fault for not having it secured down.

Well.. It was a Hallucination from ReefKoi. So yep.. that one hurt.
