In the past I just pull the rock he lives in. Now its gonna be hard coz my rocks all fused in corals. I have traps that I made caching unwanted fish, I just gonna make one smaller.Originally posted by jrodiw
How did you catch it? I've had one for 6 months now I think I've tried everything to it.

Those do not actually live in the acro right? They live in the rocks and come out at night to feed right? I ask because I have a dark crab like that living in an acro. The coral itself is as healthy as I have seen - no chewed tips or anything.
Try to get him out man, later he would do more damage.Originally posted by yznhmr

I hate those things. Had one that took out 4 fish that were all over 2.5" in length.

jrodiw, get a red light bulb and a drop light, crabs don't see well with that color but you can see the crab. An hour or so after lights out, break out your red light, try and find out where he lives, and get him out.
