Jen, Cook'em!

No,I have better idea, give it to my TRIGGER and watch him rip the bastard into pieces.:D

Triggger says--"YUM"! As long as sombody is itting em.

If anyone ever comes across a crab they don't want, let me know. My puffers would be eternally grateful!

jrodiw, get a red light bulb and a drop light, crabs don't see well with that color but you can see the crab. An hour or so after lights out, break out your red light, try and find out where he lives, and get him out.

Those do not actually live in the acro right? They live in the rocks and come out at night to feed right? I ask because I have a dark crab like that living in an acro. The coral itself is as healthy as I have seen - no chewed tips or anything.

I have one of those.. i thougt it was a discolored emerald, could he have been eating my cleaner shrimp?

How did you catch it? I've had one for 6 months now I think I've tried everything to it.
In the past I just pull the rock he lives in. Now its gonna be hard coz my rocks all fused in corals. I have traps that I made caching unwanted fish, I just gonna make one smaller.

U are right, juvis. stayed in the Acros, when they get to acertain size they move into your rock work. This crab get to about quarter size body.

I just found one in my tank. Been trying to get him for months. Finally got himself into a hole with no exit but from the front. So in I went with some long tongs and crushed the crap out of him.

Food for the other cleaners now.

I had one a month ago but I gave him to Doug to feed to BUBBA and it was such a joy to see the crab get eaten after what he did to some of my corals.

I have had something like that for over a year. It doesnt have the stripes on the legs tho. Something ate all of my cleaners too, Ithought it was the dottyback. I cant catch either of them.
