DARC Garage Sale/Frag Swap May 16th at 1pm

We have secured the empty unit next to Aqua Mart for our Frag Swap/ Garage Sale on Saturday May 16th at 1:00pm. The empty unit has electricity and has plenty of room for everyone.

So, what's a Frag Swap/Garage Sale. Basically anything goes. Bring your tanks, equipment, fish, frags, you name it. The location has easy access for unloading. And here's the best part: Since there is no overhead the same rule as other DARC frag swaps applies, i.e. you don't have to pony up a single penny of your profits. We do ask for donations to help keep the club running, but that is up to you. Heck, we may even have a drawing.

There will be electricity provided, but you must bring your own table, chairs and a tank for your frags. If you don't have a tank DARC will have 1 or 2 that you can use

A little suggestion. DO NOT Sticky news in this forum. I never look at the stickies and missed out on the info about the last meeting at Karvin's and nearly missed out on this frag swap info if you didn't cross post to SCMAS. There isn't a lot of activity on this forum, so no need to sticky.

Attention club members and future club members:

I am going to start an "eye candy" thread as we get a little closer to the date. Josh and Chris graciously offered to submit some photos of the frags they will be bringing.

Everyone has a few weeks to brush up on their photo skills.

We do need extra tables and chairs if anyone has any, or can help us attain some for the day please let us know.

ok question. when is setup happening? and what if the frags we are selling are in the tank that we are trying to sell too, can we say that the frags are for sale but the tank is too and can be taken home after the swap is over?

Setup will start at 10am. Selling will begin at 1pm. You can sell the frags and the tank too. This is a frag swap/garage sale so anything pet related can be sold at the event.

I will have sun coral, a couple plate corals, toadstools, green star polyps, a couple different kinds of candy cane, and a ton of zoa's (African blue hornets, steve oh's morphed black whole suns, Red PPE, Green bay packers, etc.) I will also have inTank Biocube 29 accessories if anyone would like to upgrade their 29g biocube (fuge, media rack, fish saver).

I'm going to try to make it over around 1 o'clock for awhile. I have some extra 1/4" netting for making tank covers. Might have some extra plumbing parts to get rid of as well. I'll take a look in the garage tonight.
