Dark spots on longnose hawkfish

I bought a bonded pair of longnose hawkfish from DD a few months ago. They went through TTM, 2 rounds of Prazi, and 4 additional weeks of QT. They have been in my 75g DT for about a month. Shortly after adding them to my DT, they started getting these dark spots on them. They have been eating fine, swimming fine, and appear otherwise healthy. I have been feeding NLS pellets (which they don't really go after), LRS fish frenzy (soaked in selcon), mysis (soaked in selcon), and live blackworms. They are the most aggressive fish in the tank. All other fish in the tank are fine: pair ocellaris, one spot foxface, blue spot puffer, valentini puffer.

I thought maybe they were stress markings, but it's been about a month and the spots are not going away. The dark spots appear to only be on the orange parts of the fish and not on the white parts, almost like a hyperpigmentation. Any idea on what it could be?

Tank params: ammonia - 0, nitrite - 0, nitrates - 0, 78 F, 8.1 pH, 1.025

It's hard to see in the pictures, but is more evident in person. Here's another photo. It's the darker coloration outlining the orange lines, especially around the head.

Again, I don't see anything unusual. If the fish is behaving and eating normally, I wouldn't be concerned, personally.
