Have a reeflo dart i got from bulk reef and its making a loud knocking noise..... any idea what it could be.... it prob makes it every 10 15sec?
Here is a video from my phone i know its not the best but it kinda shows how loud this thing is and you can really hear the crunching should at the end... I took it oof the system and checked it and all i found was some salt on the shaft between the head and the body... i didnt take it all apart yet but put it together and still make the noise.... it humms really loud also... everyone keeps saying they are quiet but idunno. I think this thing has been bad from the start ill be calling bulk reef tommrow and see what i need to do.... but here is a video it sounds like screeching but it more of a really loud hummmm....
mind you that they only sound you are hearing is the pump no water is being moved around in sump and skimmer shut off and calcium shut off and tank is in another room and the drain lines are in bubble tubes so you can barley hear them... All the sound is from pump...
