Dave's 90gal build

Dave - I am so impressed! I went back to the first post to recheck the dates - it loooks like you did everything in under two months!! And it looks terrific, I love the rock work. And you take great photos too.

I have been sucked right into this thread - and keeping in mind the truest form of flattery - I am using your sump drawings for starters as I plan mine.

looks great, got to have the schooling chromis, how many is that? Be careful with the clam, watch him closely. Looks great though, keep up the good work.

There are 9 chromis, started off with 10, but the little guy didnt make it. Fortunately I saw him and was able to remove him quickly.

What should I be looking for with the clam? I do feed the tank with marine snow everyother day, and I dose once a week with liquid calcium, iodine, and stontium & molybdenum after I do my 10 gallon water change.

The clam has been in the tank for about one month now, and seems fine. Nothing in the tank seems to bother it or go after it. Am I missing something?

I have a Mimic Tang that Ryan got for me, and the other is a Kole Yellow Eye that I ordered from Blue Zoo.

I just looked that their website & it looks like they have the Orange Shoulder Tangs in 3 sizes. I have only good things to say about Blue Zoo. Their packaging was great & so was their customer service. Fedex screwed up and my priority package arrived about 27 hours later than it was scheduled for. We thought the Kole was gonna be DOA, but he wasnt. He was barely alive, but after a slow 3 hour drip he revived, and the next day was already picking off the corals. The toadstool leather, the feather duster and the 3 emerald crabs I ordered were also alive and are doing well.

I was worried about ordering online, but after this experience, I would definitely order from them again. If anyone wants to set up a group buy from them, I'd be in.

Some updated pics, mostly of my scooter blenny which seemd to be a little skinny about a month or so ago. I had some concerns about him, but he has taken real well to eating mysis, and I have since added more pods of different variety to my fuge.

Dang, this guy is hard to get a good picture of!!!
