The dolphin is my AC pump. It has an external motor and fan. The impeller and head are separate.
I don't know how hot it gets but it doesn't inject the heat into the water directly. Only rotational motion is transferred via the shaft to the head.
It does heat up its own surroundings though. Mine is open air, so it's keeping my whole garage warm
but not the water. In an unventilated stand though (where I had it before), the hot air became hot water.
