Dead 6100?

I came home last night to a very frightening smell, the smell of electrical burning, i checked the tank, and found the driver box and power supply to my 6100 were very,very hot, to hot to touch. There was no leak or any water at all on the driver, the pump is dirty and i was ready to clean it this weekend, would a dirty pump burn up?
Is there some where i can send this pump in for repair?

Yes, if it locks up it will try to restart repeatedly and it is possible for a transistor to blow on the board, this then usually leads to a short which causes capacitors to burn out and overloads the transformer. The transformer turns off at 100C but it can get very hot. Send it in.

I sent you the pump, you should have recieved it Thursday, do you know how long it may take? Sorry for so many Q's but my Corals really do miss that sweet flow.
