Hey guys wondering if anyone could let me know what happen to my Copperband? He was fine yesturday morning eating fine, last night sitting in corner but still eating, this evening dead. Here is a picture of him after I took him out. Any help IDing the cause will help. I am worried about the other fish.

Thanks

How long have you had it? I lost a long nose butterfly shortly after I got it. It was fine and eating and then suddenly I saw spots on it and in 24 hours it was gone!

History of fish? When acquired? Behavior?

Year + old. In my 225 gallon with yellow tang, blue hippo, flame angel, 3 clowns, and a wrasse. Haven't notice it being picked on. It ate normally.

I believe it was a internal bacteria infection but that's based off researching online. I am now worried about my other fish.

Try feeding them Dr G's medicated caviar they have anti-parasitic and anti-bacterial. I tried it and the fish ate them. This is the only medicated food I have seen them eat. I tried ick-shield pallets and they spit it out.

PS: My fish are no longer exhibiting flashing or other symptoms for more than 2 weeks. But I am also running chloroquine phosphate in the DT so I am not sure if the medication alone is working or both.

I haven't added anything new to the tank and it was literally 24 - 36 hours since I first noticed something wrong and the fish died.
