Dead PEST/Friend? ID Needed

Dear Friends,
Today morning i found this brown comming outside of the rock, but it was dead... mostly it was being flushed out of the rock i suppose...

it has whitish scales on the body, and near the mouth side, the scales are more distinct... the mouth circular is not open and it is like one of those octopus creatures that opens and takes in Capt.Jack Sparrow in Pirates of Carribean II

is it good/bad/ugly? they look more like the bobitt worms... circular in shape, just brown in color....
