Dealing with High Nitrates

I prefer small water changes to avoid major shifts in the tank . Genrally 15% is as much as I would do at one time. I do a minimum total of 30% in a given month at 1% per day plus maintenance related changes for a total of about 40% per month.

I agree with the water changes, I have a 75 and dont run any carbon or pellets or anything like that, I just have my skimmer running, levels seem to be ok, just have to monitor them!

...I didn't read every bit of advise you just got (I'm sure most of its solid)...but (just asking) ,,,,do you got good flow "behind" and/or "around" your rocks?
