Awww it couldn't have been the next weekend, when I'm out of school?! Lol have fun guys.

Ok so spoke to Bob, we are on for the DIY food making. If you want to join in, please list what you want to bring.

For starters I'll bring

My wife's 16 cup Cuisinart Food Processor
Frozen Cyclopeeze
A Box of Quart size Ziploc Freezer Bags (once I figure out how many are coming I can figure out how many to get)

Raw Cleaned Shrimp
Some sort of white fish
Squid
Scallops
Nori
Selcon
Mysis
Clams

Too true, this time I have a beast of a food processor, should be able to make it all in one or two batches.

Spoke to Bob, he wants to do the food thing on January 12th, he will be hosting the January meeting there too. He will be speaking with his vendors to see if he can get some more stuff for the food.

We'll still be meeting there tomorrow with a frag raffle. So should still be fun!

Hmmm... No food. I'm OK with that until later. But I've got the Halloween hermit crap that I won in our October raffle that is just too big for my little nano. Didn't know how big it was! So I'll be bringing that in tomorrow. If we don't have a raffle, someone's just gonna need to take a donation.

Also, I've got a nice sized (5" by 2.5" crescent) piece of purple rimmed monti that I'm going to have to give to someone. This stuff grows like a weed, and I accidentally snapped off this lovely piece in my nano. It's been in my sump for a month where it has lightened up considerably. But I know from giving similar pieces (coming from the less than ideal conditions of my sump) that the piece will turn back into a great specimen in no time, given good light. So this is a great piece of coral, just waiting for the chance to happen!

It's amazing how poorly we have communicated the priorities of this club!

Thanks for the post srussso! We are kind of the un-club. Membership is almost an after-though. We are just an loosely affiliated group of people that gather on a monthly basis to chat about reef-keeping.

It's not formal. It's not limited to members. In fact, if we to restrict it to "members", then on most months we'd few people in attendance.

Actually - if you care to visit the "club" website, we've gone to great pains to make sure that we are organized in a massively informal basis. If you can come, GREAT! And if not, hopefully we will see you some time in the next year.

So what's the bottom line? We're VERY small. We're VERY informal. And if we miss you this meeting, hopefully we'll see you at another. This is ALL about being a club the is convenient, easy, and near by for you.
