Decorator Crab

Does any one know if these are safe with SPS and LPS. I know that softies get abused by it. I have had it for a while but it has lived in my sump. I would love it in my main display but if it takes out my SPS and LPS then I will give it away instead of putting it in my display. I was originally going to setup another tank upstairs and it would have went in that tank, but I changed my mind. it is currently about 4-5 inches.

Those can be hard crabs to keep. I'm impressed you have been able to keep it alive.

I would not put any crab that big in my display. They can become a problem at that size to fish and other inverts.

I didn't think about that. I do have smaller fish in my tank right now. They will be more than large enough eventually but not now. I've had him for about 4 months now. I did not know they were hard to keep, makes since though, I always loose the easy to keep specimens, the hard ones I normally do ok with.

So this crab will not stay in the macro area. It continues to move to my Return area of the sump. So can someone tell me the benefits of it hanging out there or cons. If there are none either way I think I will give it to a good home for free.
