dedicated 10G tank for zoas setup question

Zoas in my 75G DT are doing well and multiplying so I have been selling them via Craigslist. I recently bought a bunch of plugs so I can frag them for sale and I do have a spare 10G tank with T5 lighting which I would like to use.

What other equipment do I need? I'm thinking about adding a live rock from DT and just a small hanging power filter. Will that be enough or would a protein skimmer be absolutely necessary?

Since the maintenance would be easy, I would be changing the water regularly.

Nope. Now, IMO I would also add a small fish like a neon gobi as well. This will help with nutrients that the Zoas feed on. If you go this rout, I would run a small skimmer like this one:

Yes, I swiped the pic from the website noted on the image.

If you arent already, I would suggest you familiarize yourself with the topic of palytoxin which many zoas have and protect you self from exposure when working with zoas.

Look in the zoa corals section.
