Dedicated nem tank-sand or no sand?

So I am thinking of turning my single tank setup into a system and adding a second tank that would house a bubble tip anemone. This way I can use my main tank for corals and not have to worry about the nem stinging them if it decides to take a walk.

My question is: for this tank, should I put sand or is bare bottom better?

Sand or no sand is a personal choice. I'm in the group that wants sand.

With a BTA sand is purely optional. Some other anemones prefer or outright require sand.
