Hi guys
Im still a newbie, cant remember for the life of me what that hard red stuff is that starts to get stuck on your glass at about the 10 monthe period. Anyways is there an easy way to take this stuff off other than getting in there with your hand and scraping it off?

As far as I know all you can do is scrape away.

It requires calcium in the water to form (among other things). yet the calcium seems to usually be the most limiting factor - though I wouldn't recommend trying to limit this.
