the main reason i've avoided it is becuase usually dehumidifiers have copper coils that the water is condensed on, before it collects in the tray or goes down the drain.
copper + water + reef inverts = all kinds of bad things.
Get a TDS meter. Water collected from a dehumidifier is usually loaded with contaminents- more so than tap water.
The same goes for rainwater.
The solution is to make RO water. Perhaps add a DI cartridge after the RO.
