Deland/Daytona Stores?

Does anyone know of any good reliable stores in the Daytona Sanford Orange City and Deland area? I just got my dad started on a full setup 55 and i want him to be able to find some good places to get stuff! thanks for the info!!
 
None worth noteing that I have found in Deland, sanford or orange city. There are a few decent ones in daytona, amazing on nove and reed canal, then theres one on nova and mason and nova just east of ridgewood. In orlando/altamonte theres several to choose from, the fish bowl, sea in the city, seven seas, the aquarium, fishy business..... the list goes on. search around in this forum for opinions on all of them. So far I tend to frequent amazing, SITC and the fish bowl the most, but all of them have a specific niche.

I was pretty amazed at the prices and selection, owner was a cool guy too
 
cjs on the corner of courtland and fortsmith blvd - its a awesome store - she sells frags for 5 -20 bucks - really cheap coral- she will order you stuff very cheap also - i give the place 4 stars and i have been to alot of fish stores
 
No problem man, I talked to the owner of riptides reef, havent went and check it out yet but seems like it has some potential to be agreat place as well, good selection on their website as well, might be able to do some business from tampa as well!
 
I was at Riptides place over the weekend and wanted to pass on a compliment. Billy was a great guy and had tons of stuff. His website does not show very much compared to what he has in his tanks. He had a ton of frags for sale. All the tanks were immaculate and clean as possible. Good prices as well. I had no worries about buying frags or fish from him and worring about any potential pests that you might expect from a typical local fish store. The zoa frags I bought from him were open in less than an hour after getting them in my tank and the clowns I bought are fat and happy! I highly recommend Billy @ Riptides!
 
After all this talk about riptides I stopped by todaya nd was impressed as well, I think Ive found my new favorite in volusia county. Billy was a pleasure to deal with and I will be doing more business real soon.
 
No corals today, bought a decorator crab thats covered in zoas, Hes hideing right now but Ill try to snag a shot soon, It was a bad idea bringing the wife along though, she wants to go back and make a shopping list of what we are buying next:)

hmm deland smack in between em and could REALLY use a good store, my fingers are crossed, but im sure I wont be that lucky, im getting used to a 35 minute drive to the nearest reef store:(
