It was a lot of work, but there was also a lot of help so it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The red one is a open lobophyllia and the blueish one is a trumpet coral.
Pics are great.
How do you like the ER RS 250?
I was wondering your thoughts on choosing that skimmer?
I have to choose a skimmer for my 125 and I was thinking RS 180 at first then thought the RC 135 or the RC 180. Only hassle for me is fitting those recirc models under the tank with such a big footprint, not to mention price.
Thanks
I selected it based on my coral load and fish load. I wanted a trigger and I know those are messy, so I decided to get a skimmer that is rated for about 200 gallons of a heavy load. My total volume is somewhere around 150 gallons. I really like the rs 250 its been doing a great job, I'm very happy with it. I think its a great skimmer performance wise right out of the box vs price. I have not moded mine in anyway except for the gate valve deal.
Not for a long time, I've got lots of nooks and crannies for small things and I want to collect more zoas. They are starting to grow on me. Funny, it took me a long time to start to like them. Damn, I knew we should of come in after the road trip!
Thorium.
I have some Zoas if you want to trade, they are purple with green skirt, and some palys neon green body with yellow neon body. I will send pictures tonight if you want .
Also some red really nice red, but the are attached to a piece of Yellow Turbinaria.
Hey dominga
I will definitely think about it, not sure yet what else I want to go for in the zoa department. The skimmer is working great Steve-o. Your the one thats going to have to get some bigger eaters.
