dendro growth rate

ok so I've had my single head dendro for around 3 months and I have been feeding mysis 3x a week, the head has grown noticeably and now opens 2.5"+, how much bigger is this thing going to get before I start to see new heads, I have recently upped the feeding to every other day or so, and I alternate between PE mysis and AA soaked krill, I hve been thinking of picking up some squid. would squid be more nutricious than krill? it seems like it would more meat and I would assume more protein.

I don't like feeding squid to corals. I've experienced many specimens (Dendrophyllia, Rhizotrochus) have trouble digesting it. I prefer to feed PE Mysis and chopped Krill (I use the huge Hikari Krill).

Your feeding regiment sounds perfect, maybe even a tad much. If you're feeding them every other day, do so sparingly as they can be overfed. Different species will grow at different rates. Out of my colonies, two look nearly identical, but one grows at an extreme pace compared to the other. They're fed the same amounts, and are in the same tank under the same conditions - go figure ;)
