Dendrophyllia not wanting food?

Here is a picture of mine, do you see the bottom of it where the arrow is, that part was getting whiter, after changing position looks better, this picture is during the day time, it's shaded by the cap above, mine opened big last night and I feed it. Not sure if it's a coindence or what.

IMO I would not feed yours for now and see if it opens at night. How often were you feeding it before? I'm not sure if they can get over fed, I've been feeding mine every 3 to 4 days. I use a feeding stick that you can get at SITC. Have you talk to Marcy and she what she thinks? Good luck with yours

I was asking when i was at sitc the other day but this one isn't getting pale its more like the orange is just stripping off. I have hopesthat the baby will make it. I was feeding it every to every other night just a few bits of mysis

i picked up a magnesium test kit to double back in checking my alk\ca levels which are acceptable and my Mg was a little tiny bit on the low side so i've added a little bit.. but i dont think its my water chemistry too much since everything else really seems to be fine.

I'm thinking it may be some kind of infection after getting stung by one of the little bombs my frogspawn decided to release- that the dendro caught one night while being open and feeding.

thats why i was wondering if there may be a safe dip for it

If you imagine the way mine is white? spreading rapidly very quickly all around the polyp, yeah, thats what mine is doing :(

The only thing i can say it try putting it in a spot w/ a little more flow... Mine hardly opened but then when i put them in a spot w/ more flow they are open all the time.
