Dendro's and a Sun Coral Light Non-Requirements?

I recently got a very nice set of Dendro's, that are enjoying the water motion and my T5 Lights.

I was told to put them in low light, but is low light really necessary? I see Live Aquaria's lighting requirement of Low, but is that a minimum or a maximum? They seem to be happy as can be, but I don't want to burn them out.

I have dendros that are on the top of my rockwork like yours for about 2 years. I run Radion LEDs. They tell me they are happy and multiplied. But, I don't see them out when the lights are at full power. I don't think they like the intense lighting, but it has not burned out my dendros.

I have an XL colony of black sun corals in the same position and conditions as above. What I have come to realize is the this corals can live with the parameters your LFS gave you but don't have too. Most important is flow for food access.

Dendrophyllia and Sun Corals are NON Photosynthetic so light does not matter.

I agree with what others have said, that low light is not a requirement. These corals are generally only found in low light areas of the reef because they are outcompeted by the corals and algae that DO photosynthesize. So as long as they aren't overgrown by algae and/or another coral, they'll do fine there. It may take a bit of time for them to get used to coming out in higher light.
