Dendros closed & shrivelled... kind of...

I bought a frag with two medium sized and two baby dendros a couple of months ago. For the first month they were open all day and the babies started growing well. About 2 or 3 weeks ago the two bigger ones kind of closed up/shrivelled partially and they've been like that since. I can't get pics... but I assure you they're not dead or dying.... just closed up and unhappy looking. The two smaller ones are open and feeding daily and growing. They're almost as big as the other ones. What's going on?

They are in medium flow and 20+" under MH. No amm, trates or trites, but a little phosphate in the tank. There are no corals too close to it... It is AT LEAST 6" away from a few things, like an entrusting gorgonian, toadstool and some acans... But whatever the problem is, is only affecting the two larger heads, the smaller ones are fine... It's been like this for like 2-3 weeks. I spot feed every couple days with PE Mysis and recently I've only been able to feed the smaller heads, and sometimes one of the bigger heads is half open so it's taken a few... but the other big head has been closed and I haven't fed that head for quite some time... They used to all be open on feeding time...

Help?

ive got the same thing goin on with mine and have a post goin about it. do you have aiptasia, or have you used any reef epoxy lately, or maybe stopped usage of activated charcoal, or used too much GFO? only reason I ask is these are the only things that may have triggered mine to act like this as far as I can tell.

I have a couple aiptasias in the tank, but nowhere near the dendros. I haven't used any sort of reef epoxy recently... I don't run carbon, but was thinking of running it for a few days a month... I've been thinking recently that I may have to as my coral load is getting pretty heavy...

One thing that may be it, is that recently I've been gettin some cyano. I noticed a little bit of it nearing the base of them last night. I tweezed them off and waiting a couple days to see if that helped...
