I remember there being a group buy for these a while back and I was curious as to whether anyone has been able to propogate these yet?

If so.. I'd be interested in purchasing one or if anyone knows where I can find one locally that'd be cool also!

Thanks!!

I got mine at exotic aquatic in LITH . that was about a year ago , but I have seen them there a couple times since .

I have at least 16 now from the 3 I got in the group order. At least 9 are fully formed and eating but not fully grown. Others are just the mouths forming. Don't know how long it will be before I would frag any and I have a few people waiting.
Not even sure how to frag these corals.
I have seen Sun corals in stores but never these.

Hey Sully,

I bought (3) and all three are doing great but the (2) small heads that are formimg are only 1/16" accross so far.

How often you feeding them and what are you feeding?

Thanks
Jim Mc

seen them there at least twice since I got mine ( was around the same time period though ) . never seen them at any other store either. they had sun corals in there as well . big difference in size and $$$ .

The babies grow slowly, but they keep forming at an impressive pace.
I feed them daily, a lot. Put my turkey baster up close and slowly give them as much food as they can hold onto, then make sure the fish don't steal the food while they move it into their mouths.
I use a home made food. Whatever you use soak it in selco or selcon.

Holy growth Sullyman!

I still have the 1 large head and the baby has grown quite a bit. It also looks like I have 2 new babies forming as well, but nothing compared to your 16 from 3. Must be that crazy food you give them.

To see they babies forming, you need a magnifying glass, at least I do.

I've been hand feeding mine pieces of sand eels. It doesnt muck up the water, no waste, and no one seems to steal their food.
