Any reccomendations on some great salt water stores in denver or surrounding areas to buy salt fish that has a huge selection? I really liked Denizens of the Deep in Fort COllins, but it seems as though it closed.. Any suggestions on something great near Denver?
Thanks in advance
Mike

I like Aquamart and Ki's Island. If you google them you can find the locations. They both have a pretty good selection usually in stock. Plus any dry goods you need.

For fish, I'd strongly recommend either Neptunes or Aquamart. They are the only two stores that quarantine their fish before putting them in the sale tanks. (Aquamart also has the widest selection in the metro area, especially since Key's Island downsized to a smaller store this past year.)

If you like denizons then you are missing out on the stores in Denver and greeley area! Dont forget Oceans Apart the only thing is there only open to public on Sat!

Denizens actually is open under another owner and name. the place is called Deep Seize. they are very sporatic about fish. sometimes they have a good selection and other times, very poor. their prices are weird too. they charge a ton for goofy, common fish, but tangs and larger fish, i notice are sometimes very reasonable. they do not quaranteen, but that isnt an issue for me as i quaranteen myself.

+1 to Jaw969 on Keys Island. Best place to buy cheap good-quality frags. I don't find their SPS selection to have dropped off as much as I expected since relocating to the smaller venue.

+1 to Artful-Dodger regarding fish options.

I personally shop at Keys Islan and Aquamart, both have given me solid information, and never bad. I have purposely taken bad water samples into other stores and had some of them test and say "Your water is fine, Go ahead and Buy". Both of these stores were on the other end of the scale, where they totally discoraged or forbib any sales as well as giving great info on how to fix the problems. I should add Neptunes to this GOOD list as they also did the right thing, they are a little more pricey.
