Derasa clam keeps turning itself over

I have a Derasa clam, about 4-5" long (I'm bad at guesstimating). For months it's been attached to one rock. Out of nowhere 3 weeks ago it just let go and flopped over onto its side. I righted it, situated it back into it's crevice and went on about things, but since then every single day that clam keeps flopping itself over onto its side. It's clearly still alive, and has good extension of it's mantle, good color, looks great-- just won't stay up! What the heck is goin on here?

my derasa is tilted also, about your size. the word i get is leave it do its thing. seems as if it is determined to do it regardless of what its human wants it to do. as long as it reacts, shouldnt worry. at least that's the advice i get

Try putting some other rocks around it so that it can't tip over. It should attach and then you can move the rocks away. That's what I did for my Crocea and it has been in the same spot ever since.
