Derasa clam mantle issues

Hello, When I first purchased each clam they had the typical blue outer stripes on the mantle, however, it seems that they now have "curled" and do not extend the mantle fully. I have done a freshwater dip thinking it was pinched mantle in the past but nothing seemed to help.

I should also note i have a maxima and crocrea in the same tank and the mantles extend way out and in perfect condition.

Any help?

I have included pictures to further explain the dilema

temp is 83 (people claim high but natural reefs run up to 86... seems to work for the tank)

Looks fine. 83 is fine as long as it doesn't go up in the summer. My tanks are around 72-74 in the winter and 80-84 in the summer.

Thank you for the responses and help! I'm glad the clams are doing fine.

What is the reasoning for the blue edges to be fully appearant at the younger life and to be less visae later?

Pure curiosity!

Thanks again z

Another possibility would be not enough light. Clams extend their mantle more if searching for more light then they are getting.
