Derasa lighting

search won't work for me... so please don't flame me because I'm sure there are 10 million threads on this already...

I want to put a Derasa in a 20L Lagoon tank I'm doing. 30" x 12" x 12"

It will be lit with a 70W MH but the clam won't be directly under it... do you think it will be fine? Or would another 70W MH be preferable?

should be fine, but i would move it as close to the light as possible.

IMO, a 20gal tank is a too small for a derasa...They grow very fast and can measure around 8"-10". She will rapidly outgrow your tank and will depleted your calcium and alk faster than you think. Not the better choice for a tank of this size.
