Looks very nice and bright! DIY light is 4x24w, however in sig it states you are overdriving bulbs to 54 watts... each?

ive had it for almost a year... it looks bright and full of color in person...

no way its bleeched.. but thats IMO...

i have to agree, from those pics he looks bleached.

do you have individual reflectors for your DIY lights??

how much flow do you have?? ( is it direct on the clam? )

does the mantle look to be reaching like in those pics??? ( or is caused by flow )

in the first pic there appears to be something on the upper margin of the clams shell, what is it??

are you running a GFO or AC??

please post another pic or two, including one from above and turn off all flow.

a4twenty, Yes i have individual reflectors for my lights...

i have a koralia 3 in a 29g thats more than enough flow, plus my rio return pump...

i dunno what it is it has a little thing string looking thing that comes outta it... i took care of it...

i dunno what GFO means, i am NOT running active carbon...

do you have new pictures of the clam?

the clam looks bleached, the mantle is translucent and very white in all three pics.

how old are your bulbs?

could you move the clam up?
