Design Idea (Aqua controller control)

I think this may have been asked before but I hadn’t seen a response.

This to me "SEEMS" like a good idea then again im not an engineer or anything

Are there any plans to work with Neptune Systems to come up with something similar to the Aqua surf but have it be wireless so it can communicate to all the other Vortechs wirelessly?

If you can control them from your Neptune Controller, then you can program in a night mode.

How about the ability to program/control/monitor them from a PC using a wireless network? Seems like you could have very complex patterns and control options that way (i.e. you could have a daily pattern, a seasonal pattern, even an occassional "hurricane" pattern).

Ecotech did say they where bringing out a Multicontroller last year but nothing has happen at this stage.

The current new wireless driver which acts like a limited controller could be it.

Hooking up some kinda box to the aqua controller i think the possibilities are about endless... The AC3 and Pro hook up to your network so you could control your vortechs anywhere it would be an awesome addition to an already awesome product

If you can control them from your Neptune Controller then you can do this. (so long as you have a controller with WiFi like the AC III Pro).

The AC3 non pro version also has a net connection. I can actually control my pumps over the internet via the AC3.

I have my ACIII and a WIFI bridge its sweet I hate wires...

Giovanni, Iv been watching your thread which is awesome by the way but I guess I hate to mod both my Vortechs, i wish I could only mod one of the units and use that to control the other.

My bad, I meant that you can wirelessly enable it using a WiFi bridge, or any of the various WiFi "game adaptors" that plug directly into an Ethernet port. Sorry.. I sort of got ahead of my self with that statement. Thanks for catching that

My wal mart had the linksys wireless game bridges on sale for $59 now. That is what I am using but I paid more like $100.

I have the Linksys one on my TiVo and the Buffalo TEch one on my Neptune ACIII. I like the Buffalo model better.

It would be nice if your unit worked with the neptune controllers. Alot of forks use the neptune controllers for tank managment and having the Vortech work with it would bring a new level of integration to your product line.

I think at somepoint the Vortech's could use a GUI aswell......
