THIS MORNING WOKE UP TO MY LTA UPSIDE DOWN IN THE SAND. IT SEEMED HAPPY ON THE ROCK BUT WAS SLOWLY MOVING DOWN ROCK. I PLACED IT RIGHT SIDE UP IN SANDBED. DOES IT TAKE A LONG TIME FOR IT TO DIG DOWN AND ATTACH TO GLASS. ALSO THE TENTICLES FELT STICKY IS THAT NORMAL. IVE TURNED OFF POWERHEADS. BUT I DONT WANT TO KEEP THEM OFF TO LONG

LTA's prefer sand, and as long as you have good light, that's where they will usually go.
Sticky is norm.
Turn PH's back on, cause it will also want the right flow.
Just scoop a little sand out, preferably between a couple rocks where it can be blocked from flow a bit.
It should sink in a bit, and after it attaches it will stretch out for light/flow as it needs it.

Turn off the caps lock first. When did you get it and how long has your tank been setup and other info about your tank?

If it's healthy it could take <4-5 minutes to bury itself, at least that's what mine did. Yes it's normal for them to be sticky. At first mine had trouble attaching but after I placed some rubble around it to keep it in place it dug right in and has stayed there in a moderate-high flow area.

Sorry about the caps Didnt mean to shout............Tanks been running since Feb and got the LTA day after Thanksgiving. Maroon Clown took to it 2 days later......Thanks for info
