Detaching a crocea

Since my experience with clams started only months ago i did a big mistake. I purchased one maxima and one crocea and placed them on a large piece of LR. I placed them very close and now they are touching each ohter. I want to break them up but they are both wedged.
Can i just pull hard or is there a better way to detouch them ?
The maxima is bigger gone 2-3 mm over the past 4 months and seems fine. I hate to move it so i am going for the crocea.

They are fine touching each other. However, if you want to move one- do not pull hard!!!! cut the (gland) clam away with a sharp knife! do a little more reading here ---- there are alot of threads on this.
