Developed ICH immunity?

I think I need to talk to a phish-doctor or something but...

Does anyone have any idea if Ich can surrvive in a tank with only 1-fish who seems to have developed an immunity? He went through 3 cycles of Ich and they dissapeared after that?

Is the tank "Fallow" if the only fish in the tank is resistant to the disease? Just trying to keep him out of the QT tank if I can.

You cannot be 100% certain that the fish has developed a complete immunity or simply immune enough to harbor a very low, nearly undetectable number of parasites awaiting new fish without this protection. The only way to be sure is to remove and treat all exposed fish while leaving the tank completely fishless so the parasite dies off.

The white spots are the fishes reaction to the parasite....kinda like a rash in humans only there are parasites present. Yes, I believe some fish can carry ich and not show visible signs. I had an outbreak years ago, my Salon Wrasse never had more than 1 or 2 spots, but he was not acting normal. [or acting more abnormal than usual] I treated all my fish
